National Fire Group is proud to be a Recognised Business under the Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme (FPAS).

FPAS is the only nationally harmonised accreditation system designed to recognise the skills and competencies of fire protection technicians in the fire protection industry across all State and Territory jurisdictions in Australia. Businesses recognised by the Scheme only engage appropriately accredited individuals (fire protection professionals) to provide services.

FPAS is managed by the Fire Protection Association Australia*

Established in 2007, the National Fire Group is well respected, privately owned fire protection company

offering complete fire protection solution to the property maintenance and construction industry in the Australian.

It is often difficult to determine if a fire protection contractor has the appropriate skills.

As a FPAS Recognised Business, staffed by Accredited Technicians you can be confident that National Fire Group

is delivering quality professional services in line with FPAS accreditation.

More information on National Fire Group is available here.

More information relating to the changes to legislation taking effect in April 2020 is available here.

*Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia) is the national peak body for fire safety that provides information, services and education to the fire protection industry and the community.

“Recognised Business status is awarded to businesses that are investing in the skills, knowledge and experience of those fire protection professionals engaged in the business, thereby supporting them in achieving individual accreditation. Businesses recognised by the scheme only engage appropriately accredited individuals (fire protection professionals) to provide services in the categories for which the business provides services.”

Accordingly, businesses that meet the FPAS Recognised Business criteria will be acknowledged as:

  • Being capable of delivering quality professional services as they engage accredited FPAS individuals.

  • Supporting the industry ‘pathway’ to increased quality and professionalism by ensuring its fire protection workforce is accredited through the Scheme and moving towards all individuals gaining FPAS Qualified Accreditation.

Beyond being suitably trained fire protection professionals.

National Fire Group offers a complete fire protection solution, client education programs and a framework around reporting communications that keep the client informed and clearly understanding our process and their obligation relating to fire compliance.

A few questions to consider regarding your current customer experience...

Is your current provider able to provide you with clear reporting relating to defects, inspection and testing results?

Do they help the committee forecast and budget for maintenance repairs?

Does your current provider offer extended warranties, when available, on products they install?

Do they provide you with an accurate asset register?

Are they able to provide all services in house or do they subcontract their work?
